Your guest room, with king bed, sitting area, two-person Jacuzzi tub, and fireplace in both the bedroom and bathroom, will be your personal romantic retreat.

Our historic village is graced by clapboard buildings and a white steepled church. Attentive shopkeepers and local craftspeople will greet you with a smile. The number and variety of restaurants would impress any world traveler. And the area is legendary for outdoor adventure! Stowe has long been known as "The Ski Capital of the East." Other winter-wonderland activities include romantic horsedrawn sleigh rides, snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, ice skating, cross-country skiing, or just playing in the snow. In the warmer months, enjoy first-rate golf, hiking, canoeing, fly-fishing, antiquing, and scenic drives through covered bridges, just to name a few. Whatever the season, a myriad of activities awaits you in the majestic Green Mountains of Vermont.

Accommodation
All Guest Rooms include individually controlled heat and air conditioning (seasonal). Other special amenities available in all Guest Rooms are hair dryers, hypo-allergenic down pillows and duvets, luxurious bath robes, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels, a clock/radio/CD player, ceiling fans, fine bath products, rubber duckies and candlelight for enjoyment while in the Jacuzzi-for-two, current reading materials, and good reading lights. Because our guests have come to "get away from it all", you will not find telephones in our guest rooms. Two telephones (and one modem hookup) are available in the common areas if you must check in with home or the office.

Amenities
With only nine Guest Rooms, several common areas, and 9 1/4 acres of grounds, you can be assured of privacy and quietude. We invite you to relax and let your senses take over. Treat yourself to delectable complimentary hors d'ouevres each evening. Bring your favorite bottle, and we'll provide the set-ups from our 24-hour Guest Pantry.

Try a game of billiards or linger over a jigsaw puzzle in our cozy, fireplaced Game Room. We also have board games, playing cards, and a movie library for your enjoyment. Or sink into a comfortable seat in front of the huge stone fireplace in our Sitting Room. Bring along a good page-turner or make new friends. Our Solarium is available for hosting small weddings, social events, or meetings when the entire Inn is reserved for the event.

Outside, explore our Walking/ Snowshoeing Trails and Pond. You can also slip into our Hot Tub Under the Stars. This is an especially invigorating experience during a winter snowfall!

Meals
In the morning join us in our window-walled Breakfast Room with tables set for two. We'll treat you to a full country breakfast. If there's a chill in the air, we'll have the fireplace going. In the warmer months you may see the cows outside grazing at our neighboring dairy farm.
