Location
We can assist you with planning your vacation: hiking trail info, biking or swimming hole tours/kayacking-canoeing trips. We can arrange a day of sailing on spectacular Lake Champlain or send you on a shopping spree or antiquing tour. It's easy to arrange golf, tennis or visits to Stowe's world class spas. Perhaps you would enjoy a therapeutic massage in the comfort of your own room. Maybe you would like to join a bus tour to Montreal - just a 1 hour and 45 minute trip.

Accommodations
All are done in country casual. Each room has a private bath, comes complete with cable television... and plenty of pillows! King, queen, and canopy beds... and a couple of very sweet rooms tucked up under the eaves.

The Butternut Inn sits along the Little River as it winds its way through Stowe, Vermont. Follow our walks, wander the town's recreation path, or simply sit... and enjoy the gardens.

For a cozy wedding party, the Butternut has formal seating for 40 in our restaurant. For more lavish affairs, generous parking and tents in our garden amid the summer blooms make our summer weddings. We provide catering in-house, or will work with the caterer of your choice. To smooth the planning, we keep a list of local service providers, from photographers... to babysitters! Couples come from around the world to marry in Stowe; spend next weekend with us, and see why the Butternut in Stowe, Vermont is a beautiful place to begin.

Rates: summer packages - weekly rates from $500.00 per week for two in our economy queen room with private bath/full breakfast and afternoon tea with fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. The weekly rates for our standard rooms is $599.00 and our queen canopy rooms and kings are $699.00. Our largest rooms with balconies are $800.00 per week. ($15.00 extra per person)
