The Belle Grae Inn

This Italianate Victorian house is the centerpiece of numerous restored 1890's homes transformed into comfortable lodging rooms. All are graciously furnished, "period correct" and accented with heirlooms and keepsakes. The Inn is an easy walk to shops, museums and an easy drive to Colonial and Civil War History. Guests will enjoy a romantic dinner in the old Inn or dine casually in the garden room. Dinner is a must at Belle Grae. The menu offers tasteful American cuisine complemented with area favorites and that special touch of southern hospitality.

Blue Ridge Mountains, skyline drive homes of four Presidents, architectural tours, hub for visiting Jefferson's
Charlottsville and Lee's Lexington. Tucked away in the Newtown historic district of Staunton, the Belle Grae is a landmark cluster of beautifully restored Victorian homes dating from 1870 to the early 1900's.

Accommodations
The inn offers 17 distinctive rooms and suites decorated with period antiques and keepsakes for the pleasure and comfort of its guests. Its suites are located in the restored 1870's Townhouse adjacent to the Old Inn. Studio units are also available for longer stays. And the Inn has economically priced packages designed specifically for Monday through Thursday guests.

Meals
FARE INCLUDES our candlelight-and-music evening dining experience -- your choice of appetizer, creative salads, exquisite entrées, and decadent desserts; afternoon tea; comfortable lodging; and Innkeeper's Fare breakfast. Dinner menus change seasonally. Dinner serving hours are from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. If your schedule makes dinner impossible, it is our pleasure to offer one of the following alternatives (please notify us 48 hours in advance of arrival if you will be taking advantage of one of these:
A gourmet picnic basket with wine or champagne in your room upon arrival
A luncheon picnic basket for the following day
Or purchases from the gift shop or Garden Room Bar against a $50.00 credit per night
