The Governors' Inn

Built in 1897, this Neoclassical Victorian is furnished with beautiful and tasteful antiques. Innkeeper Lisa Kloss combines Texas hospitality with English charm to create a delightful and unique bed and breakfast atmosphere. Lisa, having spent almost 10 years with the Four Seasons Hotels, takes pride in offering a full range of the convenient services and amenities found in luxury hotels but always with the warmth and hopitality bed and breakfasts are known and loved for. Lisa is the 1997 and 1998 President of the Historic Accommodations of Texas.

Each of the 10 guest rooms have private baths, telephones, and cable TV. Lisa offers a full range of convenient items and services for your comfort. Each room features cable TV, private telephone lines, coffee and tea making facilities in your room, irons and ironing boards, bathrobes, hair dryers, and Caswell Massey toiletries.
