Hideaway Bed & Breakfast

Have you ever been somewhere that is so quiet that you actually find yourselves whispering to each other? The Black Hills Hideaway is such a place. An ideal vacation place where you can hide and be pampered after visiting crowded attractions or simply relax and be pampered on that special getaway. Whatever the season, whatever the reason, our hideaway in the hills is the perfect destination. Our traditional Bed and Breakfast is situated on 67 acres of peace and solitude, surrounded by the Black Hills National Forest.

Location
Located on 67 acres in the heart of the northern Black Hills, just off U.S. Highway 385, seven miles south of Deadwood, South Dakota. Our Hideaway is close to all Black Hill attractions; other activities include rest and relaxation, hiking and biking on premises (with complimentary mountain bikes), golfing, snowmobilng, and skiing nearby. Ideal for honeymoons, vacations, or that special romantic getaway, we are open year-around.

Accommodations
Volendam Room - A Dutch treat from the northern coast of Holland. Queen-size bed, sleeper sofa, woodburning stove, private entrance, patio, lower level.
Far East - A comfortable room with an oriental decor. Queen-size bed, futon sleeper, deck, first floor. Winchester Room - A touch of class in the English tradition. Queen-size bed, gas fireplace, deck with hot tub, first floor.
Sedona Room - The rustic charm of the American Southwest. Queen-size bed, deck and hot tub, first floor.
Mystic Room - Black Hills inside and out, with a view of Custer peak. Queen-size bed, gas fireplace, indoor 2-person whirlpool, deck, second floor.
Rochford Room - A trip back in time to the Black Hills of the early 1900's. Queen-size bed, gas fireplace, indoor 2-person whirlpool, deck, second floor.
Kokomo Room - The romantic ambiance of the tropics...in the heart of the forest. Queen-size bed, gas fireplace, indoor 2-person whirlpool, deck, second floor.
Luxembourg Room - The unique French - German flair found in that charming country. Queen-size bed, gas fireplace, indoor 2-person whirlpool, deck, second floor.
Galena Room - This Black Hills room is just the place for your honeymoon or special anniversary with both a hot tub and whirlpool.
Anniversary/Honeymoon room with king-size bed, gas fireplace, indoor 2-person whirlpool, deck with hot tub, first floor, and breakfast in your room available.
Bode's Abode - Housekeeping cabin south of Pactola Lake; ideal for families. Sleeps 2 to 6. Two full-size beds & sleeper sofa, 1-1/2 baths, full kitchen, washer/dryer, VCR, deck. Minimum 2 nights required. No meals.

Amenities
Our home is located in the heart of the northern Black Hills on what was once a wagon trail in the late 19th century. The comfortable decor features a huge brick fireplace and deck to enjoy.

Meals
A full hot breakfast is served from 7 to 9 am in the dining room or on the deck. We will gladly provide for your dietary needs if you let us know in advance. Join your fellow guests in one of the common areas for snacks and beverages everyday in the early evening. Box lunches available, at an extra charge, upon request.
