The Claddaugh House is an 1880s Victorian home recently restored by native Newporters Michael and Beth Grimes. It is their pleasure to share their knowledge of the local area with you. Whatever you might be interested in: tennis, sight seeing, shopping, sailing ... Michael and Beth will recommend the best places to enjoy ... and will share with you some of Newport�s best kept secrets. The name Claddaugh originated in County Galway, Ireland and symbolizes "Love, Loyalty, and Friendship," a sentiment that we hope our guests feel year after year.
