Brooke Mansion Victorian Inn

The Brooke Mansion Victorian Inn is the only known Bed and Breakfast attributed to renowned architect Frank Furness. Elaborate displays of fine ornate woodwork and creative architectural design are found throughout the 42 room mansion. Constructed in 1888 as a wedding present for his wife by industrialist Edward Brooke II, the three-story mansion contains a magnificent foyer with grand staircase, stained glass, ironwork, and a circular rosewood library all of which are outstanding examples of Furness's suburban architecture.

The Brooke Mansion is close to antiquing in Kutztown and Adamstown - "Antiques Capital USA", Outlet shopping in Reading, hiking or bicycling at French Creek State Park, nearby canoeing and golf. Enjoy sightseeing at Nolde Forest, Hopewell Furnace, or the Amish Country. Visit the birthplace of Daniel Boone or just relax on the 110 ft. wraparound porch.

All rooms have private baths, some with original claw-foot bathtubs. Victorian Wedding Suite, complete with king-size bed.
