Located in a restored 150 year old German schoolhouse, the Barnyard Inn sits on a two and one half acre wooded site overlooking beautiful countryside. Around the landing of the extra wide staircase are old family pictures, and at the second floor landing the Pozniak's have lined the walls with vintage wedding portraits.Location
Located in the heart of the antique capitol of the U.S.A. (Adamstown, PA)! Minutes from outlet shopping in Reading and Lancaster! Close to Pennsylvania Dutch Attractions!
Accommodations
The Llama Room is our smallest room and features hand-crafted wall hangings imported from Peru, llama pictures and figurines. This room has a large bath that boasts of a clawfoot tub. The Llama Room also has a
collection of unique memorabilia and old medicine bottles.
The Sheep Room is done in blue. It has a Victorian mahogany bed to make you feel pampered, and a lady's
vanity that is perfect for primping. You can truly count sheep in this room!
The Pig Room is pink, of course. This room's vanity is situated in it's own alcove, for privacy. The Victorian bathroom has double sinks, a corner shower, and an old fashioned tin ceiling. From the bedroom you can walk out onto a deck overlooking the animals.
The Cow Room is a two-room suite and also adjoins the deck for relaxation. It is the only room with it's own television. The sitting room can accomodate a third person.
Amenities
Given the elegance of the inn, its name might seem out of keeping, but there really is a barnyard of animals behind the home, a mobile petting zoo Animal Ambassadors that visitors enjoy while they stay at the inn.
