White Oak Inn

Voted as one of the top ten inns in the United States, this secluded country inn near Ohio's Amish area offers a relaxed atmosphere in beautiful surroundings. With ten guest rooms and two luxury log cabin cottages, it is perfect for romantic getaways, honeymoons, weddings, small business meetings, or family reunions. Full breakfast is served daily and dinners are available by advance reservation. The inn also offers wine and cheese weekends, murder mysteries, nature weekends, cooking classes and other special events and packages. Amenities include fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, WIFI, and complimentary snacks and beverages. We also host small meetings and private lunches, teas or dinners.


Location
Located in Knox County, about an hour Northeast of Columbus, on a winding backroad, a warm haven reaches out to welcome you. The White Oak Inn offers a comfortable respite from your otherwise hectic world. Located in an area which has the look and feel of New England, this turn-of-the-century farmhouse will make you not want to leave it, even before you step inside. Area attractions within a short drive include the largest Amish population in the U.S. (Holmes County) featuring unique hand-crafted items such as bent-hickory sapling rockers and colorful quilts. Besides being the state's leading cheese-making region, there are also a number of local wineries.

Accommodations
Ten guest rooms and two luxury cottages. Six queen rooms have private bathrooms with showers. Three queen rooms have fireplaces. One queen room has a fireplace and two-person whirlpool tub.
The cottages have king size beds, fireplaces and jacuzzi-style whirlpool tubs.

The inn's rooms all have private bathrooms. Most have TV/DVD players. The inn's common room has wireless internet access. Plop down on a couch or an easy chair and put your feet up in front of the woodburning fireplace. Disappear into a favorite book. Play a long forgotten board game. Tackle a jigsaw puzzle. Meals
A full breakfast is included in the price of the room. Four course candlelit dinners or romantic dinner baskets are available with advance reservation. You are welcome to bring wine or beer to enjoy with your meals. Heartland cuisine will tempt your taste buds. Fresh vegetables in season from the Inn's bountiful gardens and specially cut meats and selected poultry from local purveyors are prepared with careful detail. Mouth-watering desserts and home-baked goods are freshly made in our country kitchen. Meals will become a memorable experience as treasured as your visit to the Inn.
