Six Sisters is a uniquely styled 1880 Victorian bed and breakfast in Saratoga, Springs,
New York whose front entrance entices you with an outstanding display of original Tiger Oak and multi-colored stained glass. Inside, the rich golden oak floors and Italian verde marble are adorned with classical Orientals, antiques and Victorian touches of yesterday and today.

This elegant bed and breakfast owned by Kate Benton and Steve Ramirez was named by Kate in admiration of her sisters; Maureen, Bernice, Kathleen, Victoria, Elizabeth and Agatha. Her six brothers are still waiting...

Location
The ideal location of Six Sisters Bed & Breakfast presents the opportunity to stroll to: The National Museum of Racing, Broadway/downtown with its specialty shops, wonderful restaurants, numerous antique stores and coffee boutiques. This lovely Saratoga bed and breakfast is also within a 5 minute drive of: the Saratoga Spas, Skidmore College, the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, museums, and restaurants. We invite you to revel in the history and ambiance of beautiful Saratoga Springs.

Magnificent golf courses meander throughout the 2,000 acre Saratoga Spa State Park, along with mineral springs, geysers, Spa Little Theater, picnic facilities, tennis, swimming pools, Saratoga National Museum of Dance, cross-country skiing and the exciting Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Visit the famous artist’s retreat Yaddo. In the cool of the evening try your luck with the Standardbreds at the Saratoga Raceway.

Accommodations
The spacious, immaculate guest rooms, each with private bath, some with whirlpool and private balconies, king or queen bed, T.V., small refrigerator and air conditioning are individually decorated.

Especially lovely is the ‘Elizabeth Marie’ room, dressed in floral wall paper, white wicker, soft pastels, white brass King bed and a beautiful Victorian bonnet chest.

Our bright, beautiful golden room with two queen beds and a private terrace for relaxing in style is the perfect setting for a prospective Skidmore student and parent or perhaps several sequestered silly sisters. The elegant Master Bedroom with its king bed and black iron filigree headboard has a spacious allure. In the warmer seasons, enjoy the turn of the century etched glass windowed alcove which connects to a romantic balcony with rocking chairs for two... a perfect place to tete-a-tete.

Amenities
Surrender to the simplicity and graceful beauty of the lace curtains, oriental carpets on gleaming wood floors, high ceilings, antique clocks and the rich luster of natural woods. The comfortable parlours invite you to linger, to explore our extensive library, to play the baby grand piano or to relax and do nothing at all. In warmer months enjoy our wrap around porch and old-fashioned gardens.

Meals
After Steve expertly prepares a lavish homecooked breakfast, guests are proffered to taste the seasons’ breezes that nuzzle our rocking chair veranda, perhaps while enjoying a steaming mug of Kona Macadamia Nut coffee, herb tea or fresh cider. The veranda looks out onto the historic flower-laden boulevard, Union Avenue and the Saratoga Race Track.
