Location
Celebrate your special occasion in complete comfort. The inn is an original country farm located on the Ellis River, a sparkling river where you can fish for trout from the river. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, alpine cross country skiing, mountain biking, minutes to five golf courses including two within walking distance, canoeing, and nearby hiking trails which lead straight to New England's Summit, Mount Washington. The highest peak in the Northeast. Enjoy over 200kms. of "Nordic World Class Groomed Cross-Country Ski Trails" from our door at the Ellis River House! Jackson X-C Ski Touring Foundation is located here in our village within walking or skiing distance of the Inn.

Accommodations
Ellis River House's eighteen rooms are beautifully appointed with period antiques and a wide variety of traditional and modern amenities. All rooms are private bath, color cable t.v., phones, and central airconditioning/or heat. Choose from romantic bedrooms decorated in period antiques with fireplaces, two person whirlpool baths, and private balconies. Some rooms have views of the enchanting Ellis River or the majestic mountain peaks of the White Mountains.

Meals
Choose from our Morning Beginnings of Orange juice and fresh from the oven "muffin of the day!" Breakfast entrees of Eggs prepared any style, Our Chef's Omelette of the Morning, Hot or Cold Cereals, all served with our signature home-made breads prepared fresh every day and
crispy bacon. We alternate our Ellis River House French toast, or a variety of buttermilk pancakes daily all served with warm maple syrup and crispy bacon. Help yourself to an endless cup of coffee or tea ! Our hearty, full country breakfasts are included in your stay and are renowned throughout the White Mountains.

Amenities
Open year round is our relaxing Sauna and our bubbly Jacuzzi Spa located in our glass enclosed atrium. Our outdoor heated pool is available May through October (weather permitting).

Relax and enjoy a cocktail or after dinner drink in our fully stocked pub. A game of billiards or darts can soothe away your stresses. The entire inn is centrally air conditioned and non-smoking.
