The Bernerhof is an elegant, nine room Inn featuring rooms with two person spa tubs and king and queen brass beds. Prince Place is an award winning dining room offering creative cuisine with a Suisse influence. The Black Bear Pub offers a Microbrew Emporium and a lighter fare menu, which can be enjoyed fireside. A Taste of the Mountains Cooking School has been a successful part of The Bernerhof for seventeen years, offering hands on classes teaching basic, sound cooking techniques utilizing wholesome, healthy, international recipes perfect for entertaining or just a special night with the family.

Location
Set in the White Mountains, The Bernerhof is located in the Mt. Washington Valley, an area that has been a popular resort for over 150 years. In summer there is a wealth of family attractions, golf, tennis, swimming, and special events, all moments from the Inn's door. The surrounding mountains and White Mountain National Forest provide ample opportunity for hiking, fishing, and sight-seeing; while those who prefer more "civilized pastimes" are sure to indulge in shopping at North Conway's many fine stores and outlets. In winter, the valley is a mecca for skiers: four downhill areas (including Atitash/Bear Peak, a mere two minutes from The Bernerhof) and the Jackson and Bretton Woods cross-country ski networks are the primary attractions.

Accommodations
The Bernerhof Inn embodies all the grace one would expect in a small, elegant, European hotel. Meticulously preserved and tastefully refurbished, the Inn has nine individually decorated guest rooms, each unique and inviting. All rooms have a private bath, and several have king-size brass beds with Jacuzzi tubs in window alcoves.

Meals
A restaurant has garnered rave reviews from restaurant critics, national magazines, and a host of guidebooks. A lounge with comfort and charm. The added spice: a cooking school offering an enticing selection of courses.
Guests at the Bernerhof are decidedly pampered--especially on the fourth morning of their stay, when a champagne breakfast in bed is offered, complete with fresh flowers, Eggs Benedict, and of course, champagne, is offered, compliments of your hosts. All other mornings include a full country breakfast at the Inn's award winning restaurant.
Evenings, the Inn's Black Bear Pub is a popular gathering place for local guests and travellers. Old brick, antique golden oak paneling, copper and glass accents combine to make a room that is especially cozy and welcoming. In cooler weather, a fire burns brightly in the brick hearth. Real glüh wein, espresso made from freshly ground beans, and traditional Swiss cheese fondue are offered. A lighter fare menu has an array of offerings from pasta to seafood, veal, and much more. Soup, salads, and appetizers are extremely popular. A variety of almost ninety microbrews are on hand as well. For the the guest who is looking for a more serious dining experience they offer the Prince Place dining room where table side Ceasar salad, flambe desert and an extensive wine list are available.
