Location 

Located in the heart of Roanoke Island Accommodations Guestrooms are available with a king-size bed and a trundle or a queen-size bed and a single. Each antiques-filled room is stocked for breakfast and has a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, TV and heat and air conditioning. An 1850's sette, canopied beds, and an authentic antique Coast Guard chair are just some of the touches that grace the five guest bedrooms. Much of the furniture was refurbished by Phil, a talented woodworker who also had a hand in designing and constructing much of the traditionally styled Scarborough House itself. Original photographs of old Manteo and the couple's ancestors dress the walls and pay homage to their roots in Roanoke Island. Simple amenities in each room provide guests the best of all worlds: comfort, privacy and service.

The inn has a comfortable living room, a porch with rocking chairs, and bikes for touring the historic district. Sway in a bench swing surrounded by clematis, canna lilies and a goldfish pond.
