Cypress House Inn

We invite you to come and enjoy our big beach house, where you can take a stroll on the beach, play in the waves or just dip your feet in the Atlantic Ocean, only 200 yards away. Cypress House Inn was built about 50 years ago as a small, private Outer Banks hunting and fishing lodge. It has been lovingly updated and cared for by the Combs family for the past 21 years.

We're close to: The Beach! We're only 200 yards away. You're that close to sunbathing, swimming, surfing, aerotow, bookreading, and shell collecting. Just perfect for those after dinner strolls over the dunes to the surfline, or if you're an early riser, for watching the pods of dolphin swim by on their way south.

Accommodations
Our six guest room with private shower baths provide a quiet and restful retreat for your vacation. We have a
large wrap-around porch with picnic table, seating and a swing for your enjoyment. We pride ourselves on providing you with a clean, comfortable, smoke-free and friendly home-away-from-home atmosphere at Cypress House Inn. Our rooms all have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and color/cable television in room.

Meals
Awake to the smell of fresh-brewed coffee along with muffins, bagels, pastries, fruit and juice each morning. Enjoy your breakfast either on the porch, in the common room, or in the privacy of your room. Take your coffee on the porch and watch the pelicans soar across the dunes.

Amenities
There is a common room (with telephone) for reading, card playing, puzzle solving or just good conversation. Whether you wish to sun or swim - fly or fish - sightsee or shop - study nature or history - we will be happy to help guide you in the right direction for things to do on the Outer Banks. Cypress House Inn provides its
guests with beach chairs and bicycles. In other words, you can be as busy as you like or as laid-back as you like.
