Location
Built as an inn in 1840, the Boone's Lick Trail Inn--also known as the Carter-Rice building--is one of the oldest buildings in town. Early adventurers and settlers stayed at this last outpost before moving westward. Begun in 1853, Boone's Lick Road led from the inn to Arrow Rock, where it joined the Santa Fe Trail.
Accommodations
We have 6 rooms total--1 attic loft (private shower bath), 1 master bedroom (shower bath and clawfoot tub), 4 wing rooms (all with private shower baths).
Amenities
Each room has a ceiling fan, color network television, telephone, and is centrally heated and cooled. There is a dining room and sitting or gathering room (no tv), no game table, but games are available, porch, and patio areas for all guests and off-street parking.
Meals
Full or continental plus breakfast. A breakfast of fresh fruit, freshly baked rolls and breads, homemade jams and jellies, along with a hot entree, is served in the dining room on Haviland china and fine silver.
