Accommodations
1, 2 and 3 bedroom cottages and condominiums with 1-3 baths. The new Lakeside Cottages offer six to eight people an elegant lakeside cottage with attention to every detail. Each features three bedrooms with three baths, deluxe kitchens and a covered patio. Kavanaugh's deluxe lakeside townhomes are multiple units designed to accommodate larger families and groups of 6 to 8 persons. The Woods faithfully fulfill Kavanaugh's promise of comfortably refined vacation lodgings. These two-story, 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhomes offer scenic overlooks of Sylvan Lakes. A spacious lawn fronts each unit, and a secluded beach is yours to enjoy. All The Woods are furnished with fireplaces, private lakeside decks and fully equipped kitchens. The Oaks are perched on beautifully landscaped grounds, directly on the shores of Sylvan Lake. The Oaks offer inspiring views of the lake, from their private decks. These individual cottages offer two baths, two fireplaces and a full kitchen with washer and dryer. The Views: a spectacular view of Sylvan Lake, and the beach, is the showpiece of the 1 plus-bedroom, 2 bath Views, designed to accommodate 4 to 6 persons. Highlights to note include an individual upstairs bedroom and bath, living room with queen size wall bed, fireplace, lakeside deck and full kitchen. The Westwoods offer a spectacular view of the lake across a spacious front lawn. These two bedroom, two and 1/2 bath units are perfect for families or four to six. They include a fireplace, full kitchen, and a covered lakeside deck. Families of six will find that the Cedarwoods are a spendid choice. These spacious three bedroom, three bath units are equipped with a full kitchen, fireplace, and a lakeside deck. Modern luxury combines with lake country style in The Maples. Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 4 persons. Standard in each Maple is 1 bedroom, 2 baths, kitchen, living room wall bed, fireplace and lakeside deck.

Hiking - Nature lovers and photographers will appreciate the many quiet foot trails meandering through our property and the adjacent Pillsbury State Forest. Paved multi-use trails start at the resort.

Recreation Center - We have something for everyone! Enjoy our indoor game room housing a pool table, TV, and video games. Recreate those simple days of summer pleasure by enjoying your favorite family water sport, together, on sparkling Upper Sylvan Lake. We can assure you that the scenery will be beautiful and the water and beaches among the cleanest and safest anywhere. For the true boating and water enthusiast, you'll find paddle boating, kayaking, canoeing, sailing and pontooning, all on our lake.

What could be more perfect than a sunny morning's match among the pines? You can discover the uncommon pleasure of tennis played in our clean northern air and Sylvan setting on our new laykold court, or play basketball on the full size basketball court. Enjoy a walk along our streams or next to the waterfall. In any season, you're invited to relax and enjoy Kavanaugh's beautiful indoor or outdoor heated pools. Exercise in our fitness room or work the kinks out in our large whirlpool. Other Activities include: Three new Children's Playground areas, volleyball or 2 separate swimming beaches.

Winter: Over 50 km. of groomed and tracked ski trials, suitable for novice to intermediate skiers, begin right at our doorstep. Hundreds of miles of snowmobile trails can be easily accessed from Kavanaugh's grounds, including the Gull Lake Lighted Trail.
