We welcome you to Hall House for a relaxing bed and breakfast stay. Prominent contractor Henry L. Vander Horst built Hall House in 1923 as his private residence. The Italian marble, Detroit Pewabic tile and ceiling artwork are some of the signs that you're in for a special stay. Today, visitors can still enjoy the Georgian Revival home's exceptional craftsmanship. Location Located halfway between Detroit and Chicago, "Yes, there really is a Kalamazoo." Hall House neighbors the wooded hillside campus of Kalamazoo College, moments from Western Michigan University and downtown Kalamazoo. Accommodations; 5 guest rooms/suites all with private baths, A/C (in summer), DIRECTV, VCR's and telephone. 3 Fireplaces, Soaking Tub, Jacuzzi Suite. Meals Continental Plus Breakfast served Monday through Friday. Full Hot Breakfast served Saturdays and Sundays. Weekdays choose from juice, fresh fruits, homemade bread and muffins, cereals, coffee and tea. On the weekend, let ham or sausage, egg strata, hot potato casserole or Orange whole wheat pancakes tempt your palate as well. Breakfast, complimentary of course, is served between 8 and 9 on weekday mornings and between 9 and 10 weekends. Ask us about special dietary needs or earlier breakfast times.
