Maison Suisse Inn
Main Street, P.O. Box 1090
Northeast Harbor, ME 04662
Northeast Harbor is considered to be the most enchanting of Acadia's villages. An unspoiled Main Street has quality shops with old-fashioned hours and service.
Location
Located right in the village of Northeast Harbor, Maison Suisse is set back from Main Street by a rustic garden. This garden is the legacy of a former owner, who came to this country from Switzerland named the cottage "Maison Suisse." Just down the hill from Main Street, the beautiful harbor offers sailing, naturalist cruises, and excursion and ferry boats. Some of the loveliest and less-frequented sections of Acadia National park are to be found in Northeast Harbor.
Accommodations
Ten guest rooms and suites, all with private baths, cable TV and "out-call" telephones.
Amenities
Golf, tennis, swimming, a botanical library and gardens open to the public are all nearby. A short walk from the inn are a small museum of local history and the public library with a "Maine" collection. Originally designed for horse-drawn carriages, the park's carriage trail system of dirt roads, closed to cars, provides excellent bike riding and easy hiking. Bike rentals are available locally, and horsedrawn carriage rides are available in neighboring Seal Harbor.
Meals
Get an early start or sleep in late, eat hearty or continental.
For a more relaxed breakfast schedule and a broader menu selection, we provide for our guests' breakfasts at a restaurant (with on-site bakery) right across the street from the inn. Breakfast is served from 7-11 a.m. Your choice of breakfast (meal tax and tip) is included.
Children: welcome under caring adult supervision.
Smoking: No

Rates: $115-$195
