George Clarke House Bed and Breakfast

George Clarke House B&B in Lexington, KY has been lovingly restored to its former 1890 Victorian grandeur. Pass through the front door and you are transported to a time and place you’ll want to visit again and again. You’re in the home of an upper class 1890 family, where you are graciously welcomed by your hostess. The rooms are cast in the amber glow of gaslights, highlighting the fine antique furnishings, elegant lamps and chandeliers, and magnificent period wall coverings.

Location The George Clarke House is centrally located downtown in a quiet residential historic district. It is an easy walk to theaters, art galleries, restaurants, shops, and cultural and sporting events.

We will serve you a wonderful gourmet breakfast on fine linens with sterling silver, Old World crystal, and exquisite Wedgwood and Lenox china. The enticing gourmet menu includes orange zest crepes with Grand Marnier strawberries and fresh whipped cream, crème brûlée French toast, homemade muffins and breads, fresh fruit and yogurt cups. Jeeves the butler will be in service most weekends.
