Built in 1889 at the end of the Great Riverboat Era, the Isle of View recaptures the romance of the Victorian age. Originally a private home, then a hospital, nursing home, boarding house and finally, after painstaking restoration one of the area's premier Bed & Breakfast Inns.

Location
Located just one block from the Ohio River and the Players Riverboat Casino, guests can "try their luck" on a paddle wheel replica which cruises the Ohio every two hours. Special weekends throughout the year also feature Nashville headliners such as Merl Haggard and Tom Jones at Merv Griffin's Theater across the street from the Inn. Romance and relaxation aren't all that this area offers. Fifteen minutes away, Paducah, Kentucky's historic downtown has restaurants, museums, live theatre, horse-racing and antiquing galore. Minutes away is the Shawnee National Forests with 350,000+ acres is a mecca for nature lovers and sportsmen alike.

Accommodations
Just right for romantic occasions, Isle of View B & B has five rooms to suit your requirements. Three very special rooms feature two-person Jacuzzi tubs and two with a working fireplace. All rooms have private baths with clawfoot tubs and showers as well as cable television with HBO, phones, and ceiling fans.

Small (under 25) functions; group murder mystery packages for groups of 5 couples and "I Love You" packages (dozen roses, chocolates, appetizer, and bottle of champagne).
