The Maples Bed & Breakfast

The Maples is a beautifully restored and remodeled Victorian farmhouse situated on 3/4 acre. The house is fully air-conditioned for summer comfort and has a woodstove in the family room for cozy winter evenings. It derives its' name from the large maple trees in the front yard. The owners purchased this circa 1888 house in 1979 and have remodeled it themselves over a period of 10 years.

Location
The Maples is 15 miles from Boise, 8 miles from Nampa and 12 miles from Caldwell. Area attractions include the Capitol, Greenbelt, Boise State University, Northwest Nazarene College, Albertson's College of Idaho, Idaho State Historical Museum, many city parks, Boise City Zoo, Idaho Art Museum, World Center for Birds of Prey, Idaho Shakespeare Theater, The Idaho Center, shopping and golf. Large and small businesses and industries are found in all three communities. White water rafting, tubing, boating, fishing in the rivers and lakes, skiing, snowmobiling and numerous other activities abound. Desert, canyon and mountain day trips are all options from our location.

Accommodations
Three guest rooms, each done in solid cherry furniture, feature private baths.
The Lancaster Room, located in the oldest part of the house, features a double canopy bed, hardwood floor, hand quilted cover and art reminiscent of our upbringing in Lancaster County, PA.
The Boise Room features a choice of a California King or two twin beds with hand made quilts. The walls are hand stenciled. This room has art of Idaho's Treasure Valley.
The Cascade Room, features a king size bed, tub/shower combination and private balcony. The photos and art in this room feature scenery of the Idaho Outdoors.

Meals
Breakfast is served in the country style dining room or, weather permitting, on the patio. The day begins with fruit and/or fresh squeezed juice. Espresso, gourmet coffee, tea and milk are also available. A variety of breads are offered daily. Full breakfast entries vary from day to day, and vegetarian, diabetic, low salt and low fat diets can be honored. Each afternoon, complimentary refreshments are offered.
