Casual elegance was the rule for entertaining on Amelia at the turn of the century - and still remains the standard today at The Fairbanks House. Innkeepers Bill and Theresa Hamilton invite you to surround yourself in the romance of their 19th century Italianate villa, a treasure listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Stroll the grounds of their magnificent bed and breakfast inn, admire its flowing arches and graceful courtyard and come inside to experience the charming hospitality known to the elite travelers of a by-gone era.

Location
Step back into the Golden Age of Amelia Island....where genteel visitors promenaded through jasmine strewn piazzas to admire a flower-filled courtyard and sip lemonade in the shade of towering live oaks laden with spanish moss. Surround yourself with the luxury of The Fairbanks House Bed and Breakfast nestled in the Victorian seaside village of historic Fernandina Beach. Thirty minutes from Jacksonville International Airport, the inn is located on Amelia Island in historic Fernandina Beach, where guests may wander among quaint shops and galleries, or stroll to the beach, visit the Amelia Island Museum, or Fort Clinch, a pre-Civil War fort. Tennis, biking, golf, fishing, and sailing are all nearby.
