Location
Swann House is situated just twelve blocks north of the White House on a beautiful tree lined residential street in Dupont Circle, DC's most vibrant neighborhood. Hail a taxi on a nearby corner or take a safe seven minute stroll to the Metro, DC's world class subway system, to reach all of the city's famous destinations. Washington's zone-based cab fare system allows easy access from Swann House to all major museums, monuments and government offices for $4 -$10. Hundreds of eclectic restaurants, shops and galleries are within easy walking distance and the lively neighborhoods of Adams Morgan and Georgetown are nearby.

All of our guestrooms are complete with cable television, private bathroom, and a telephone with voicemail and a data port. All of our guestrooms are air conditioned.
The Regent Room. Lounge in this grand second-floor room with a king-size bed. Unwind by the wood-burning fireplace with a carved wood mantle or soak in the Jacuzzi tub in the over-sized European-style marble and mirrored bathroom. This majestic room is grand yet elegant with a soothing periwinkle decor.
Il Duomo. Enter and discover Gothic windows and cathedral ceilings... Turn the corner and find a whimsical angelic mural painted above the antique-style claw foot slipper tub. There is a king size bed in front of the mirrored fireplace and a wet bar. Go up one flight of steps to our roof deck with a panoramic view of our vibrant neighborhood.
The Jennifer Green Room. Romantically serene, this very popular second floor room offers a queen size bed and a double chambered bathroom with a sunny vanity and a over-sized marble shower. Two French doors open to a large private deck overlooking the swimming pool. Curl up in front of the fireplace with a book from the antique bookcase.
The Richardson Room. Rich plum-colored tapestries and lovely windows bring a stately feel to this spacious and beautiful third floor room. It offers a shower and tub in the bathroom. Leave the king size bed behind as you walk up a few steps to the roof deck.
The Blue Sky Suite. A home away from home, this third floor suite has a queen size bed in the bedroom. A separate sitting room has a pink tile fireplace and sofa-bed. There is a breakfast nook in the window dormer. The bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and shower. Just outside the door assend one flight of stairs to our roof deck with with a panoramic view of our vibrant neighborhood.
Lighthouse. Get away to the Chesapeake in this bright second floor turret room with a queen size bed and 3 large windows. This charming room features built in bookcases and a shower only bathroom.
The Mary Rose Room. Charming with its lace curtains, this room features a queen size bed and a decorative fireplace. The black marble bathroom with a mirrored wall houses the original antique pedestal sink.
The Shanghai'daway. Escape to the Orient in this cozy ground floor room. There is a queen sized bed, sitting area and writing table fit for a laptop. Inset glass shelves enhance the look of the bathroom complete with a stand up shower.
The Nantucket Room. Cozy and sunny, this third floor room features a full size bed with charming antique furnishings and bathroom with a tub and shower. It is just a few steps away from the roof deck with a panoramic view of our vibrant neighborhood.

Limited off-street parking is available by reservation only. There is a charge of $12 per day.

Swann House is situated on a beautiful residential street just six blocks from DC’s Central Business District, making it an ideal location for the business traveler. All rooms are furnished with phones that are equipped with private voicemail and a data port, cable TV, and of course, a private bathroom. Nearly every room has a writing surface and VCRs are available. Room rates include complimentary local phone calls, newspapers, and an Expanded Continental Breakfast, which is served early for the busy executive.
