Location
Sonoita is ideal country for the outdoor enthusiast. We experience all four seasons, but our summers are significantly cooler than Tucson (10-20 degrees). There is hardly a day throughout the year, when you can't get out and enjoy this fabulous country. We are located on a 5,000 ft. grassland plateau, nestled amongst 20+ mountain ranges, 45 miles southeast of Tucson. This is where cowboy movies are made and TV series filmed. We have miles and miles of trails in our vast Public Lands, including several Arizona Trail segments. With this in mind, we lovingly restored the original ranch manager's home as a Bed and Breakfast. This charming guest house has four bedrooms, four baths, a living/dining/kitchen great room and two patios. We have furnished it with antiques and period pieces. Because we are horse lovers ourselves we welcome horses with their owners. For the horse guest we have an 17 stall barn, each 12' x 12' stall with an automatic waterer and a 100' run. In keeping with our trademark name, this peaceful and unique get-away has been named, Rainbow's End Bed & Breakfast

Rainbow's End Bed & Breakfast was featured in the November 2002 "taking the off road" column of ARIZONA HIGHWAYS MAGAZINE and listed as one of the 23 best B&B's in the state of AZ in PHOENIX MAGAZINE'S 2001 winter issue, among several other glowing reviews. It represents a dream-come-true for the owners, Elen and Horse Vacation / Arizona / Horse / Gaited Horses / Bed & BreakfastCharlie Kentnor. We offer to others the vacation experience we always sought, but was so hard to find. For years we hunted a holiday spot offering charm, history, a comfortable bedroom with bath, tucked into a beautiful piece of country, having ideal weather (of course) where public lands were accessible. Plus, we wanted to bring our own horses! Not an easy feat! So, we bought the perfect spot and created our own special place.
Rainbow's End Bed and Breakfast takes you back to a less hectic time. The old ranch manager's home on our historic property has been lovingly renovated into a four bedroom/four bath B&B. We've decorated with antiques and period pieces. Somewhat unique among B&Bs, ours is a separate guest house. Our resident guests have a living/dining/kitchen greatroom, complete with fireplace and two patios all to themselves. The owners live nearby in another historic home on the property. Our bucholic setting has fabulous grassland and mountain views, yet is on the very edge of town with it's shops, restaurants and proximity to area attractions.
For guests who would like to bring their horses, we have a17 stall barn, each 12' x 12' stall with an automatic waterer and a 100' run.

Smoking: Smoking is permitted on the patios, but we do not allow smoking in the barns or the ranch house.
