Montrose Hideaway Bed-and-Breakfast Retreat is a unique inn located in Fairhope's Montrose Historic District on Mobile Bay's Eastern Shore next to Daphne.

Escape to 11 private acres and leave the rat race behind, retreating to a hidden paradise while also remaining convenient to shopping, golfing, bayfront parks with fishing piers and walking paths, restaurants, museums, popular attractions and gulf beaches. It is also centrally located between the airports in Mobile, Ala., and Pensacola, Fla. A focal point of the grounds is a picturesque spring-fed pond. Don't be surprised if you see a great blue heron, geese, ducks, fox, raccoon or other wildlife taking advantage of the surroundings. There are two park benches positioned on a nearby rise overlooking the pond, providing a tranquil place to reflect and relax. Or relax in the breezy shade of the gazebo or on the hammock under the trees.

Don't think that staying at a bed-and-breakfast is just for when you're on vacation. Business travelers will find all the necessary services and amenities so they can work while also pampering themselves with a home environment for more relaxed productivity. (Special weekday rates are available for business travelers.)
